The YPD Karenland will host its 23rd Annual Training and General Meeting from 15th to 20th December 2025 at Kaw Thoo Mwe Khee. This annual gathering brings together youth leaders and community representatives to strengthen collaboration, share experiences, and plan for the future of peace and development in Karenland.
The six-day program will feature a mix of training sessions, exposure trips, group discussions, and cultural activities designed to build leadership, creativity, and unity among young people. Participants will also have the chance to learn from community experiences through village exposure visits, and take part in sessions that focus on organizational development, teamwork, and peacebuilding skills.
Highlights of the program include:
- Training Sessions 1–4 on youth empowerment and leadership
- Group and Organization Presentations
- Karen New Year Celebration featuring traditional games, a Cultural Show Competition, and a Karen New Year’s Eve Concert
- The 23rd Annual General Meeting, where members will reflect on the year’s achievements and plan future initiatives
The event will conclude with a Closing and Party in the Park on 20th December, followed by participant departures on 21st December 2025.
