On 23 November 2025, YPD Karenland joined Devi Shwe Education in celebrating the Nurse Aid and Pharmacist Aid Completion Graduation Ceremony at Shwe Hpa-An Guesthouse in Hpa-An. The ceremony recognized trainees who successfully completed the diploma programs, which are licensed by the Myanmar Health Authority and operated by an official health company.
The YPD Karenland training program receives primary support from the Korea Hope Foundation (KHF), while YPD Karenland continues to conduct additional fundraising activities to cover remaining costs and ensure the program can continue operating sustainably.
This year’s ceremony brought together graduates from three different training groups, as Devi Shwe Education organizes graduations based on the number of students who complete the course. While the ceremony is ideally held annually, low enrollment during the past three years meant that trainees had to wait until 2025 to finally celebrate their achievement.
Unfortunately, some trainees were unable to attend the ceremony due to personal and situational challenges, so only a portion of the graduates were able to celebrate in person.
YPD Karenland expressed pride and joy for the graduates, noting that their new skills will greatly benefit their local communities—particularly in providing essential medical care, basic health services, and public health awareness in areas where trained professionals remain limited.
The event also saw attendees from various organizations beyond YPD Karenland, showcasing a strong network of support and encouragement for the new graduates as they begin their service journey.
YPD Karenland wished all graduates success in their future paths, hoping they will continue to serve with compassion, gain community trust, and contribute positively to public health needs.
