YPD Karenland warmly invites everyone—children and adults, male and female—to join the Solo Song Competition and celebrate Karen New Year 2765 together at Kaw Thoo Mwe Khee. The event will take place on 20 December 2025 at 7 PM (Karen Time).
Competition Details:
- Each participant must choose their own song.
- Songs should be in Sgaw Karen or Poe Karen language.
- Vocal tracks must be removed; participants will perform with their own voice (Karaoke music).
- All participants should wear traditional Karen dress.
- Song themes or lyrics should relate to Karen New Year, Karen culture and traditions, love, or the Karen people.
Prizes:
- Three types of awards with the same amount of 3,000 Baht each:
- Audience Support Award
- Audience Voting Award
- Crowd Favorite Award
- Participation Award will also be given to all performers.
