From October 13 to 19, YPD Karenland organized a meaningful training titled “သူၣ်တၢ်လၢနအီၣ်, အီၣ်တၢ်လၢနသူၣ်” meaning “Grow What You Eat, Eat What You Grow.” The training focused on home gardening, carrying a powerful message that reminds us how wonderful and fulfilling it is to cultivate our own food and live sustainably from the land.

Throughout the week, participants learned practical skills in home gardening – from soil preparation and planting techniques to organic care. The training was successfully completed with great enthusiasm and teamwork.

We sincerely thank all the participants for joining and engaging with an open heart. We hope that the knowledge and experience you have gained will inspire you to start your own gardens, share what you learn with others, and make a lasting positive impact in your communities.

Our special appreciation also goes to the dedicated trainer who generously shared his time, skills, and wisdom with the youth. Your guidance has planted not only seeds in the soil but also seeds of hope, knowledge, and empowerment in the hearts of many.

At YPD Karenland, we believe that growing your own food is more than just a livelihood, but it is a step toward self-reliance, sustainability, and harmony with nature. Together, we can build communities that are nourished, resilient, and full of life.
