Providing Second Half of Emergency Support to IDPs in Pa Lu Poe

emergency support in pa lu poe

Following the first round of emergency distributions in Tar Ner Auu Kloe, YPD Karenland continued its humanitarian outreach by providing essential food supplies to internally displaced families in Pa Lu Poe. This action is part of YPD Karenland’s broader effort to assist communities severely affected by conflict and forced displacement.

With the generous support of the Korea Hope Foundation (KHF), YPD Karenland secured an emergency fund to assist displaced families in immediate distress. This distribution represents the second half of the requested support for 70 families (350 individuals) in Pa Lu Poe. These essential food items play a vital role in helping sustain families during this difficult period.

The distribution included the same items provided during the first round—rice, cooking oil, eggs, split peas, canned fish, chili, chili pounding, salt, and MSG—ensuring families have the basic ingredients needed for daily meals. Many recipients fled their homes with few or no belongings, making this assistance a crucial lifeline.

This effort underscores YPD Karenland’s ongoing mission to respond to humanitarian needs, strengthen community resilience, and stand in solidarity with communities affected by conflict.
